Ahhhh it has been a while since I've posted. A lot has happened since the start of the year!

I've finally moved back to Los Angeles after living in Salinas for over two years. And tomorrow the gang is on an adventure to Korea and Japan for the next two weeks!!!

This is going to be the first time I traveling with friends!! I'm so excited.

When we get back its going to be a big run to finish costumes for Fanime. <3 But.... I'll think about it later.

Sorry I haven't been quite active these past few months! I am quite seriously in a panic! It has sort of hit me that Fanime is in the next 3 days... But not really. I'm still really far behind in my progress but ultimately, I seriously can't wait to finish and be at the con with my friends!! Ugh, its the best feeling.

This year, we managed to change our list a ridiculous amount of times. Ahahaha. We kept Batman Almost Arkham City. I'm 80% done with Catwoman and about 50% done on Scarecrow for my boyfriend.

This year we are going to do the NEW Young Justice Invasion team-- as best as we can. and have been working on my Miss Martian and its looking soooo good. And Eddie will be malnourished Red Arrow! Ahahaha-- but I haven't started on his costume yet.

For a special reunion, the gang is whipping up Teen Titans once again!! We are trying to keep true to the old school comic version. Its super disco and scandalous. I'll be Raven again and Eddie will be Jericho! Lol. We'll see how that works out! This year we'll be happy to announce that Cyborg has finally charged. I'm currently working on his costume... sob.

Lastly, we are going to finish off with a load of Adventure Time!! I'm finishing up Marceline and the Ice King!   Its going to be awesomeeeee.

I can't wait to see everyone there. Fanime is my favourite convention. And I am so excited to chill with the usual suspects. HAPPY FANIME everyone!!!

Ahh, hallo everyone~!

This is kinda late notice--- but this weekend , a bunch of our friends, and I will be performing at a small local con up here in Monterey called Animeicon. Its Monterey's first anime convention. XD Ahahaha... SO if any of you happen to not be at Comic Con-- and happen to be up north it'll be held at the Monterey Fairgrounds. Hahaha. We'll be played Friday through Sunday-- though I'm not quite sure about what time.

Yes. I have been neglecting my DA. *cry* But thank you for all the support! Happy 30000 +!

Team LMC has been working really hard to not procrastinate this Fanime... kind of.

This year's line up has been narrowed down to X-men, .hack//link, and Young Justice.  And with 3 days left-- I am at a good 50%!  I still have 4 costumes to make that are all around 0% - 20%, but I think we'll get through. . . I'm really excited despite the long nights and the sewing forever till my hands bleed. Fanime has always been my favorite convention. Nothing really beats that feeling of walking out the hotel room ready to start the con day. And nothing beats walking around past midnight and still seeing happy con goers prancing about.

First of all, happy holidays and happy 26000!

Its been a while since I've updated and I'm sorry its been so slow... Since I've moved up to the central coast, I've been far less productive. This is mainly because I am no longer close to the fabric district. ;___; So, I've had less materials to work with. Huuu.

I drove down to LA on Christmas Eve with Eddie at 4am in the morning. :3 We got here around 9:30. Today was fun though!! We played charades and bingo and catch phrase for silly prizes. I fell asleep on the floor on my brother's gigantic pillow pet. And after all the gag gifts and basketball games and story telling...everyone finally left and the house is finally quiet again. Its been a great Christmas season so far! And though I'll be spending New Years at Eddie's up in Salinas... We'll be driving back down to LA for Anime Los Angeles. Hope to see all of you there!


And hope everyone's holiday is just great! Merry Christmas DA!

AHH! I have horribly neglected my DA, haven't I.

First off, Happy 23000. Thank you for all the watches, comments, and faves. It really brightens my day and puts a smile on my face. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, THANK YOU SO MUCH ANONYMOUS 3 month premium account buyer! *u* I really appreciate it.

The truth is, I swore that my next post would be a selling post. So I tried to compile all the things I'm selling and photographing them, but its been a bust. .__.; IT IS COMING THOUGH. (I'm so poor)

As for life things, I actually have been really busy lately. I finally MOVED IN with Eddie to the Central Coast, and I'm currently living in his house. To add, I got a job here as a photography studio assistant. So, I'm slowly adjusting to the different life style here. Its definitely slower than LA, but in many ways time moves a little faster sometimes. Still miss LA and the closeness of friends, but overall, I've loving the new change.

As for cosplay plans, the next con coming up for the gang is Yaoi Con! It'll be my first time going! I think the lot of us are making the SAILOR SCOUTS! Hahahaha. I'm going to be Sailor Mercury! Hahaha! I'm excited to get started. :3

Other than that, I hope everyone is doing well!

First of all, HAPPY 21000! Thank you so much everybody for all the love and support, comments and things! I truly appreciate it.

As for cosplay things, It's been a busy busy year. I really don't think I've made so many costumes in one summer. Currently, I'm making Gunner Yuna's costume along with a Meryl Stryfe from Trigun costume. I actually haven't started the Meryl one, but I'm really excited to start it once I finish Yuna's! All I have left is that gradient blue side skirt. My wig is coming in from Virginia. >_<;; I hope that comes in soon, if not I'll just cut my hair. ;__;

Meryl is fun. I watched a couple episodes of Trigun with Eddie and Dustin a week ago... Meryl's guns are HELLA lame. How can she manage to carry all 20 of them if they only shoot one bullet. *__*; Geez. Hopefully, if I finish it, I can bring donuts for the shoot, haha.

Other than that, I've finally finished the first part of the mural. I just have to go back in with details. Maybe I'll put up some pictures of it. :3

Hmmm, and I think that's all for now. Hope everyone's summer is smashing.

Tis the middle of summer!! Currently, Eddie and Iris have come down for a shoot tomorrow. Of course, with our luck, we figured out what exactly we're shooting-- yesterday. And of course, we are starting our costumes, maybe later today.

I know I don't concretely plan far ahead enough to list out my future cosplay schedule, but I think I should so it doesn't seem like I'm trying to keep it a secret or anything. When my friends and I are all together, all we do is talk about what to cosplay next or where to eat. So, the list of things we want to cosplay is always soooo long. We just can't settle on one to do. OR we settle on like--- 10 of them, try to work on all of them at once and end up with just one. Hahahaha, it really is just all in good fun.

For the shoot we decided on Final Fantasy characters. Jimmy would NOT give up Tidus despite my reluctance to making Summoner Yuna. BUT Eddie got me into wanting to make Rinoa. He says she's the strongest of all the girls despite her easy costume. Also, he had always wanted to make a Squall. So Rinoa and Squall for Eddie and me. Dustin is make a Bart and Iris was going to make Terra or Tifa, but I think she's going to do a separate cosplay from GrimGrimore. {Though I'll be secretly making her Terra or Tifa because I like doing group shoots.}

As for other plans, the ones we are tentatively preparing for (less money keeps us from doing so) are .HACK// and DISSIDIA. XD We would be at the manga section of Borders perusing .HACK// ones, and after looking it up, we really liked the Xth versions of some characters. As for Dissidia, we'd been talking about that for a couple years I think. LOL.  

In other news, I WILL FINALLY START MY MURAL. I'm working on a garden mural for my back yard... I'm attempting to finish it today. Or something.

But yeah, I'm the early riser. I woke up at 8 and finished Rinoa... now I'm waiting for everyone to gather. Haha... It'll be a long delirious day.

Ahh, where do I even begin...

These past couple of weeks have been so packed and I really don't want to forget, so let's go back. After visiting Eddie during the weekend of Father's day, him and Iris came down on Tuesday with Jimmy. Iris and Eddie stay at my house till Friday... then we all leave back to Salinas for the weekend. On Sunday night we leave... again, for Los Angeles. Whoo, Jimmy has some crazy driving skills.

Starting from Monday we basically start all of our costumes... Hahaha. Since no one really had a place to work, we all collectively worked in my backyard in a studio that my family and Eddie recently remodeled. It's the first time we all worked together. And it was surprisingly really nice. I normally prefer working by myself where I can just speed sew... But this was really fun. Whenever we were tired of working on our costumes, we'd just work on someone else's costumes. And when we were sick of sewing, there was always some sort of podging that need to be done, and when we were sick of it all, we'd just eat.  However, it didn't really feel like AX was coming, so we always really took the opportunity to go out for coffee, or dance, or eat... and eat some more, and eat again. I swear! I think we were eating 90% of this whole adventure!



We planned on going Thursday, but instead our goal was to finish our costumes... D.O.A was the priority-- but it switched to Odin Sphere. And I really hadn't started on any of my armor or wings or anything-- so laaazzzzyyy. OH GEEZ, that night we pulled an all nighter. Jimmy finished some of his armor for Oswald and I worked on the patterns for Gwendolyns armor and Ingway's poncho thing... {Un}fortunately, we spent most of our time laughing or wanting to get coffee, or listening to Iris' accent specialties.



Friday morning, we crashed. at around 8 we pulled out a futon and slept in my back yard for like 15minutes. We get back up and begin zombie cosplay... where we decide it'd be best to just where what we got and go to AX. Since most of us finished DOA, we wore those, and Jimmy wore Dustin's Taro from Disgaea.









We get to the con and we run into Taroboy cosplay and Angela, Louis, Jennifer, and Priscilla! Then we walk/sit for about an hour or two, until we magnanimously decide that we were terribly hungry. I don't remember what we ate... but we headed to my house and gathered all our cosplay materials and headed over to Dustin's house to spend the night there. We loafed around and tried on all of Dustin's neat collections of cosplay... then we suggested to work on cosplay, then we all fell into a deep sleep curse because none of us remember how we fell asleep.

We woke up at 8, and vowed to be ready by 12. Then vowed to be ready by 4:30, then vowed to be ready by 7... but we failed.






We didn't realize that we had so much to do... but we finished by 9! And got out of the house, despite our low enthusiasm... Eric called and we went to meet him at the Yardhouse. There we ran into Minh Soi, Mike Cabusi, Shiroin, Ken, Angela and Louis, Taroboy Co., Aku and Haku, Chloe and Scott, and Julia and V!









What we thought was just going to be a drive by and then go eat night, ended up being a ridiculously fun photoshoot session... XD We stayed there till 2:30, where we had to part with everyone and return to Dustin's house, where I think we fell asleep.... Oh no we ate... then fell asleep.


We woke up at 10 on Sunday.... ate breakfast of eggs and bacon and grape fruit juice, and sweet tea. *u* YUM. Then got ready by 2, and left. I think.







We just loafed around the con where we ran into Popecerebus, Sam, Anela and Erik, and Andy Lee! It was really fun. At around 6 we decided to call it a day and head to our planned destination after AX... KOREAN BBQ BINGE. Except for Iris because she's vegetarian. T___T I'm so sorry Iris. D:




We return to Dustin's house-- where we eat some more crabs and fruit salad and cassava cake. We were going to go somewhere to look at fireworks... BUT instead we did a makeup Ganguro and Goth makeup contest. Jimmy won the first round, and I won the second. HORRAY! Not that those places really mattered because we all looked ridiculous afterwards. After Eddie, Iris, Jimmy, and I did our make up we all took turns on Dustin for his ridiculous, I don't even know makeup... Hahaha. XD





Iris and I start feeling sleepy, but the boys and Dustin's brother Brandon stay up till the wee hours for a Super Smash Brother's tournament. We slept through the whole thing.

We wake up, and try to plan an adventure before Iris left... but we ended up chilling in the backyard till 4. We got out for some coffee and then the deesastar began. We head over to the train station to drop off iris, but the machine was broken, so we rush to another station near by. We race the train only to see it slowly disappear. D: Iris misses her train and we go to LA Union Station to refund the ticket. Since we were in the area, we go to Zencu for dinner. Then we all call it a night/week and separate for the first time. Jimmy goes back home, and Iris and Eddie come home with me. Iris leaves in the morning at 9:30, and Eddie stays.


As for after con, Eddie and I have been exploring. On Tuesday, Eddie and I explore Chinatown, and buy dragon balls and almond bread. We also found some Lychee Black Tea. We ate at Subway because we stumbled across coupons, then we watched Naruto till 5 in the morning. On Wednesday, Eddie misses his train, and we go to Thai Town to buy Thai Tea... then we head to Little Tokyo where we find the best Ramen place I've encountered so far.... DAIKOKUYA. *U* HOLY CRAP this place is so freaking good.... IT was so good that Thursday/yesterday, we went again to have some Hiyashi. *u* OMG and that was so good toooo. Ahhh, I want to go again to today for some Tsukemen. *u* But maybe I'm spoiling myself and eddie too much.


Other than that, we've been watching Naruto non-stop. We put in some episodes of Kurozuka and X, but mostly Naruto. Lol.


Sorry that was so freaking long. I just really don't want to forget, which I'm already sure I'm missing some of the more fun important parts. Its really fun to just BE. sitting around everyone laughing and eating and  thinking about food, and wanting to dance the BEG Abracadabra dance, and wanting to speak random languages, and eating again.

Second of all... I GRADUATED. HAHAHA! TAKE THAT SCHOOL. Omg, I'm so happy to be finished... and yet, kinda not. Luckily, I landed a part time job-- But the future is still ridiculously foggy, as it has always been. Ugh.

Currently, I am at Eddie's house in Salinas... It so bloody cold here. D: Huuu. Jimmy, Iris, Eddie and I have been on a driving adventure this past week. We'll be heading back down to LA today... Haha.

Besides that, AX is coming and we're all kinda freaking out. It kinda hasn't really hit me yet. But I'm sure it will pretty soon, seeing as there's only 4 more days and we all have about 2 costumes we haven't made yet... X__x; Just kidding, I'm exaggerating. Not really. Unfortunately, I sort caught a cold-- and now I'm all sorts of dying. Blargh. Either way, that hasn't stopped me from feeling excited.

Our group really kinda met two years ago at AX, when we all decided to share a hotel. Its been a while-- and we still have our bad habit of making everything last minute... We didn't get a hotel this year because we're hella poor, and that's going to be wierd commuting. BUT IT'LL BE SO FUN ANYWAY. *u* Ahhh I'm so excited.

Annnnnd here we are again, wrapping up a final quarter of a school year, except this time its the final week I'll ever be in college. HA-- suddenly I feel real old, and suddenly I really need a job. This whole year has been one hell of a roller coaster of rides and projects and ups and downs. I really love how crazy its been.

This Fanime was a BLAST. As usual, our group was late as ever with making costumes. Haha. We finished our Teen Titan cosplay on Friday night of the convention and No More Heroes on Sunday night. What a disaster! Despite the craziness of sewing and tiredness-- we enjoyed every moment of 2 hour long getting ready, 7 inch heels, the goddamn wind, hunger, what should be impossible glomps, and the feelings of stubbiness whenever we took off those high heels. It really was such a crazy blast.

Thanks for all the good times running into friends and new ones. Can't wait till the next convention.

Ahhhhh! I'm here are FANIME!

This year we're cosplaying Teen Titans with the old gang; Jimmy, Iris, Eddie, and Dustin, with new friends, Akane and Aku. Its been such a blast! (as well as a pain) For the past two nights we've been sewing away in our hotel room... Again. D: Some how-- we managed to kinda finish most of everything. Hahaha.

Anyway-- Its nice to see everyone. I kinda disappeared for a while because school got so hectic. In fact its the final week of school when I get back from Fanime.

Ah! Sorry everyone for disappearing. D: Finals week was a disaster for my brain. My final months in college are coming to an end-- and I am so not ready for life outside of backpack land. So sorry for not responding on comments and messages. >_<;


I've been really busy working on internship applications and dress commissions (that I really shouldn't be taking in the first place). I've got a number of gowns lined up-- along with some coat and shirt alterations. Its been really hectic. Somehow I've become the seamstress in my class.


Other than that, Eddie is coming down this weekend! (finally) Its been a month since I've last seen him-- but it's getting easier and easier to deal with. <3

Next quarter is my last one at UCLA. And I am going to miss it so much. I'm taking senior studio, ceramics, japanese 3, and hopefully, this art as moral action class. :3 I'll be auditing this collabos class-- which is but one unit, where all we will basically be doing is creating a band. *u* HORRAY! I'm so bloody excited.

Anyway-- I am really looking forward to this next quarter seeing as I have been doing so badly in the last ones.

PS. Any UCLA-ers... Do you carpool?! Or have a parking spot! Because I totally don't have a permit next quarter. D: And I'm going to die if I have to pay $50 a week.

So-- I'll be performing at a number of Thai dance events in the upcoming months! March has a fundraising event for some Thai Alumni group. But, I think we're hitting up three weekends of the Renaissance Fair in April and May. Ahahaha.

My Thai dance troupe consist of mostly non-thai people. Lol. Our teacher is Thai and we all took a class with her for her last quarter at the UCLA WAC department. Anyway-- we had a photo shoot with my friend Minh for a program to highlight our multiculturalness or something. XD


I should make myself a Medieval Gown or something. LOL. Not skilled enough am I. Hahahaha.
