It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Life is okay, summer is hot, and sometimes days go by so slowly because school hasn't started and nothng is going on.

Sorry, for the lack of deviations still. T___T Huuu... In less than three weeks, I'll be back in the business! I've been doodling a lot throught the boring days, so I'll have stuff to post later. :3

Did anyone else see the Lunar eclipse?! Last week, there was a lunar eclipse! So my boyfriend and I went outside at 2 am and laid.... on the side walk. -_- Haha. And it looked like God slowing trying to peep through a hole in the sky. Bahaha. It was lovely.

As for other things... I am going to rant. So this part of my entry you really don't have to worry about. -_-

Clothes. For those of you who know me, I like to wear dresses and heels. And it is just the way I am. I don't wear all that revealing of clothes... unless you count my costumes, those are not so good, but overall, in the general public, I do no wear anything necessarily provocative. (At least I don't feel like I do.)

Regardless! I wear the clothes I wear because it is my style and the way I like to dress.

*Someone* was lecturing me today about how my dresses are bad and how I shouldn't wear such clothing in front of my boyfriend... because I look cheap. CHEAP?! -__- Ugh! I really don't care. I mean... He treats me the same in whatever clothes I wear. And! To top that off, I wear the same clothes in public... AND they are not revealling!! x__x

Ugh. It's like she wants me to wear a turtle neck... a loose, but thick turtle neck, with baggy pants and socks... IN THE SUMMER! x__x Good lord. Seriously.. WHAT could I possibly wear, in this heat, that is not "revealling", if what I'm wearing now, in my mind, is already covering.

Tch. Cheap. Well, whatever, lady. You look cheap. =__=

(No wonder she takes my cosplay so badly. -_-) Ugh... so troublesome.
