Haha... I visited my page and it had 2345 views. And for some reason it made me want to write a journal.

Lately, life has been pretty darn hectic I think! :) I seem to fail at recognizing how much stuff I have on my plate and continue adding on and on.

But it's okay, I suppose. Less time just dawdling and more time doing something more productive. Right? RIGHT! :D

I've been getting these random bruises on my body lately. : One on my hip, arm, knee-- well knee is not to random... And they're big! Like someone punching me in my sleep! Or maybe I did! o__o I dunno... Hehe.

As for drawing... I seem to have hit a block! >.< All my figures seem to be losing their shape and I can't seem to get a right pattern to mindlessly doodle! : I shall wait for inspiration to take hold of me. T__T So I'm sorry for my lack of doodling. Huuu..

Costumewise? I've been very inspired lately. *_____* I went ot the Fabric District on Friday with my boyfriend and Activist Puppetry teacher and totally went on a spree. Hehe! One of my classmates has a father that owns a textile store and he let us take as many fabrics as we wanted! It was heaven. *_____* Hu hu hu.

On Saturday, my friends Vivian and Iris and I went to see the Murakami exhibit and the Giant Robot exhibit at the MOCA and Japanese History Museum, respectively, in Little Tokyo. It was... incredible. We made these little figures in a pot out of fuzzy balls... Um- yeah... I'll take a picture of it.

The Murakami exhibit was... uh... interesting. I just felt a bit like some people were confused. Not of the work, but they were totally placing it on a giant pedistal.

"Holy shit... this is breath taking."

... It was a life size statue of a man wielding his d*ng spraying... stuff in a magic sort of way.

And not that it wasn't interesting or anything.. because I could see the whole idea of mimicking anime figurines nowadays and making it into this gallery piece business... thing... But... I dunno. It was just... silly to see how people react to it. o_o

Anyway... Afterwards, Court and I went to a Yellow party. We had to wear yellow or else we'd have to give the birthday celebrant a dollar. XD Hahaha! We ended up playing Guitar Hero for a while. Haha! :3

ON Sunday... WHOO! I went back to UCLA where we started our GROUP New Genres project! X__x Man.

Ok. I don't know if I've mentioned it already, Barbara Kruger is our teacher for the class. OMG. I must say, she is intensely intimidating but highly intellectual. I hope to one day reach her tact level. Huu... My words never come out as good as she says it.

Anyway... We did a really intense video involving 5 screens where we start off in one screen then walk off into other screens and then back into our original screen. *____* It was terrific. I loved it.

Um... And today... We presented it.
I fell asleep in all of my classes today actually. : I felt really bad...
I have a midterm on Thursday.
And I have to sew giant hands for our puppetry class by tomorrow. XD

Hahah!

I'm thoroughly excited. *glee*

Well... Have a good day one and all!
I shall return with goodies!

Take care!

Watch out for those bruises - leukemia often first shows with random bruises that people don't remember getting.
