Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Huu... I want to do so much. *__* But there's such little time.

Woah. It's been really crazy these past few weeks. >_< So, I'm sorry if I'd disappeared again.

First of all, I've been working as a costume/set designer for some of the MFA students at UCLA and last week was the tech/dress rehearsals and performances. XD So I found myself really riding this whirlwind for a while. Bumpy, but really fun.

Also, this week is finals, papers, performances, week. XD So I've been sort of ... trying to cram all the knowledge of a quarter in a couple of days. x_x Huuu.... Man. It's been crazy. Really. x_x

Other than that, I've been practicing/sewing costumes for my Thai Dance class. :3 And yesterday was our performance. ^ ^ Now, I'll be free to work on things. :]

This is my second costume change. ;3
It was really awesome and I'm really going to miss dancing with everyone. {Even if I suck. XD Hahaha}
